If you would like to come to the site and see what we do, you are most welcome.  Saturday and Sunday mornings (between about 9 and 12) are the times you'll be most likely to find people flying.  Well behaved children with adult supervision are also welcome - models are fragile and can be dangerous.  If it is raining or the wind is strong you may not find us there, but we fly all year around.

 

RMA/BMFA  MEMBERSHIP FEES 2024

New members are welcome to visit and fly for a nominal charge.  If you decide to stay, just pay the fees below - there is no "new member" fee and at the moment we have no waiting list.

 

Subscriptions cover the period from 1st Jan to 31st Dec inclusive.  RMA membership cost is determined by the club members at the AGM held in December.

  • Adult          £85.00 (Reduced by £5.00 per month from 01 July)
  • Under 18   £15.00

Annual membership BMFA

Provides national membership and insurance, see https://bmfa.org/

  • Adult                               £47.00
  • Under 18                        £20.00
  • CAA ​​​​Registration Fee    £10.33 (£11.19 after 1st April)

 

Membership of the BMFA includes insurance and is a condition of membership to RMA.  It may be paid through our club.  Applicants who are already a member of the BMFA need not pay the BMFA fee again but are required to provide proof of membership.  CAA registration is a legal requirement and may be done through the club, via BMFA or CAA.  If purchased other than through the club, proof will be required.


All fees due must be paid before you are permitted to fly.
